AEW Announced World Title Number One Contenders Tournament, Finals At Full Gear
September 30, 2020Eight men will get a shot to challenge for the AEW World Title.
The next time the AEW World Title will be on the line will be the Dynamite anniversary show when Jon Moxley defends against Lance Archer. As far as the defense at the next pay-per-view, Full Gear, that challenger to the World Title is unknown. What we do know is that a number one contender will be crowned at the Full Gear event.
Tonight on AEW Dynamite, it was announced that an eight-man tournament will be taking place leading up to the Full Gear pay-per-view. The finals of the tournament will take place at Full Gear and the winner will get a future AEW World Title shot. So far only three names have been announced for the tournament. The names announced are Jungle Boy, Rey Fenix, and Kenny Omega. They also teased the possibility of Hangman Page being in the tournament as well.

So far the finals of this tournament is the only thing announced for Full Gear. AEW Full Gear comes to us on November 7th and live on pay-per-view, BR/Live, and FITE TV internationally.
