One champ will be at a big disadvantage at Elimination Chamber.

Tonight on Smackdown WWE held a contract signing for an Intercontinental Championship match at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. It was announced that Braun Strowman would have to defend his title in a 3-on-1 handicap match.

Tonight on Smackdown the contract was signed for Strowman to defend his title against Shinsuke Nakamura, Cesaro, and Sami Zayn. At first, the contract signing was said to just be just a match between Strowman and Nakamura, but Strowman signed the contract without reading it. Strowman said he knew the odds would be against him and that he would have to fight Zayn and Cesaro anyways. Zayn then made an amendment to the contract to make it a handicap match. The three of them then attacked Strowman and put him through a table.
