This year is the 40th edition of WrestleMania and it will be taking place in Philadelphia. WWE is known for always getting big names involved with the event in one way or another and it looks like they are looking to do that with someone very connected to the city of Philadelphia because of the biggest acting role he ever had.
According to WrestleVotes on Twitter, they report that sources state that WWE would like to collaborate with Sylvester Stallone for WrestleMania this year in some form. They go on to say that the communication status is unclear, but the company says there is hope.

Now the big question is what could the two sides do together? The most likely would be Stallone narrating the cold open for the show or another video package that will air. Stallone actually being there in person is not out of the possibility yet one would assume he doesn’t actually get involved in anything physical on the broadcast.
