WWE Quietly Advertising An NXT TakeOver Event During Mania Week
March 3, 2021Mania week got another event added to it.
Yesterday it was reported that there is not a plan to do an NXT Championship or NXT Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania. We heard last month it was contemplated but now it won’t happen because of the next TakeOver.
It has been revealed today that if you try to cancel your WWE Network Subscription a graphic pops up saying if you stick around you get Fastlane on March 21st, NXT TakeOver on April 8th, and WrestleMania on April 10th and 11th. April 8th is the Thursday before WrestleMania.

WWE themselves have not announced this event taking place the week of WrestleMania. This now means there will not be any representation of NXT at WrestleMania unless it’s maybe in one of the battle royals.
