WATCH: Sasha Banks Makes Star Wars Debut In’The Mandalorian’ Season 2 Trailer

Sasha Banks has entered a galaxy far far away.

Last year when Disney launched their Disney+ streaming service one of the most anticipated things was The Mandalorian. The first season of the show was not met with the critical and fan reception that many expected. The show itself seemed like it was good at storytelling, but fell apart when they tried to tell too many stories over the first season and stories not matching up from episode to episode.

With that, when we heard about production for season two it was revealed that Sasha Banks would have a role in the second season of the show. We did not know what her role would be or how much she would be used. We then learned over the last few weeks that the second season would debut on October 30th. This morning, Disney dropped the trailer for season 2, and Banks was featured in it.

The rumor that has been going around is that Banks may be playing a character named Sabine Wren. Wren is a popular and main character from the animated series Star Wars Rebels. Sabine Wren was a Mandalorian warrior, explosives expert, and graffiti artist who tried to help the Rebel Alliance against the Empire. It has not been confirmed by anyone at Disney or Lucasfilm that Banks is playing Sabine, yet many insiders have said that this is the role that they have heard she is playing.

The Mandalorian season two drops on Disney+ on October 30th. Season one dropped episodes week by week but there has been a rumor that season two could be all dropped at once on October 30th.
