BREAKING NEWS: Sammy Guevara Suspended By AEW Over Resurfaced Rape Comments Towards Sasha Banks
June 22, 20202016 comments made by Sammy Guevara has resurfaced and resulted in his suspension.
Back in 2016 Sammy Guevara was on The Whole F’N Show podcast and talked about a tryout he had in WWE. Guevara would then bring up Sasha Banks and made a comment about wanting to raper her. Guevara stated the following,
“Bro, Sasha Banks. when I was at the WWE the other week, I wanted to just got f&$%ing p@&e that women.”
After those comments resurfaced Monday morning and they were being shared all over social media All Elite Wrestling took action regarding the Inner Circle stable member. AEW stated that Guevara has been suspended until further notice and he will undergo sensitivity training.
AEW insists on doing our part to create a world of understanding and respect for humankind. We therefore strongly condemn the extremely offensive and hurtful words of Sammy Guevara. As such, effective immediately, Sammy is suspended without pay until further notice. Sammy has agreed to undergo extensive sensitivity training and, upon completion, his future status within the company will be re-evaluated.
During his suspension, his salary will be donated to the Women’s Center of Jacksonville.

Since the comments resurfaced this morning, Guevara did release a statement on them and issue an apology to Sasha Banks for what he said. Sasha stated they two did speak on the situation.
