**UPDATE** Series Injury Causes Match To Be Stopped At Dynamite Tapings, Wrestler Taken To Hospital
October 23, 2020Update: After we posted about the injury at the Dynamite tapings in the match between Tay Conti and Abadon, it was told to us by someone who was at the tapings that it was Abadon who was injured and hospitalized on Thursday.
ORIGINAL STORY: It looks like one AEW performer may have been sent to the hospital.
This past Wednesday on AEW Dynamite one match announced for next week was Tay Conti against Abadon. We have seen both women in the past have decent matches but both are still really green and some questioned putting them together for a match on Dynamite. That questioning may have been justified, unfortunately.
According to SpaceForce 1 on Reddit, they state that the match between Conti and Abadon at the AEW Dynamite tapings for next week’s show had to be stopped when one performer may have been seriously injured. We were not told who suffered the injury whether that was Conti or Abadon. It was stated that the injury was considered serious and the wrestler in question was taken to the hospital to be further evaluated.
Again it was not stated if the injury in question was suffered by either Tay Conti or Abadon. If we hear anything else on this situation and possible serious injury that occurred at this week’s AEW television tapings, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
