Two New Match Announced For Next Week’s AEW Dynamite

Another tag match set for next week’s AEW Dynamite.

This past Wednesday on Dynamite we saw Cody and QT Marshall defeated by The Butcher and The Blade. Cody was very upset after and Darby Allin came down to the ring. Allin helped to his feet and wanted to help Cody in his fight against The Butcher and the Blade. Today AEW has announced the Cody will team with Darby Allin to take on the team of The Butcher and The Blade.

Some may ask what reason does Darby Allin has for helping Cody and he actually let us know that via social media. Allin sent out a tweet stating that the time limit draw with Cody is still something he can not forget. He is hoping that if he helps Cody defeat The Butcher and The Blade then Cody will give him a rematch and they can really see who the better man is.

Also announced for next week’s show, we will see Awesome Kong in action. This would be the first official match Kong has had on AEW Dynamite.

All this and more have been announced for next week. Including, Chris Jericho will take on Jungle Boy in a non-title match with a 10-minute time limit. The Young Bucks will challenge SCU for the AEW World Tag Team Championships. Britt Baker will take on Kris Statlander in a Women’s Championship number one contender’s match. Plus, Hangman Page will team with Kenny Omega to take on The Lucha Bros.
