This year WWE will do something they have never done, matches in their headquarters.

Last night on Friday Night Smackdown it was revealed that this year’s Money in the Bank ladder matches will be held inside and on top of WWE headquarters in Stanford. The match will start on the ground floor as we see wrestlers make their way to the roof. There will be a ring on the roof and with the briefcase hanging above it.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Sapp reports that the Money In The Bank ladder matches has already been filmed. The report states that talent was flown to Stanford on Tuesday and they filmed from the early morning till midnight. It was stated that the filming was considered “tedious” with a lot of “hurry up and wait” in between setting up shots as the matches will be WWE’s latest attempt at cinematic matches.

It was also stated that there were some issues that caused filming to stop for an undetermined period of time. What the issue was at this time is not known.
