New Details On How AEW & IMPACT Plan To Work Together

The AEW/IMPACT relationship may not be that big.

This past Wednesday on AEW Dynamite we saw Kenny Omega become the new AEW World Champion and in turn tease a working relationship with IMPACT Wrestling. Kenny Omega is slated to make his first appearance as the new AEW World Champion on next Tuesday’s IMPACT on AXS TV. Now more details on this relationship have been revealed.

According to Nick Hausman of Wrestling Inc, Hausman reports that this all may just be a one-off and the two companies are not scheduled to intertwine. The report states that Omega’s upcoming appearance on IMPACT is slated to only be a one-off thing. It is said that is just Omega doing a favor for his long-time friend Don Callis. It was also reported that Omega requested that Callis be on commentary for his last few big matches.

Outside of Omega appearing on IMPACT, the report states that the plan is for The Good Brothers to also cross over as well for one match. Omega being on Tuesday’s IMPACT could set this up. Who Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows could face in AEW was not revealed.

Finally, the report states that Don Callis’ contract with IMPACT Wrestling is up next month and things sound like he could leave the company and sign up AEW working as Omega’s on-screen manager.

If we do hear anything further on this AEW/IMPACT partnership, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
