Mike & Maria Kanellis Released by WWE, Both Comment On Release

Today WWE released well over a dozen wrestlers from the company.

Today many wrestlers were released by WWE. Two of those released are Mike and Maria Kanellis. The couple have been with WWE since 2017 but it has not been great for either. Mike had to take time off when he check himself into a rehab for addiction and Maria missed much time while pregnant.

Mike Kanellis posted a video on Twitter saying everyone in WWE was family to him. He thanked all the fans who have supposed him and his wife Maria. He said times are tough but they will get through this. Mike even thanked the McMahon family and triple for giving him a chance to live his dream.

Maria Kanellis also took to Twitter to thank everyone for what she has been able to do. She stated that her second run in WWE did not go as planned, but was happy to perform in the Royal Rumble and at Evolution. She thanked WWE and the fans for giving her the opportunity to take her daughter to WrestleMania last year.
