Major Update Regarding Matt Riddle Current Status In WWE

Matt Riddle is sticking around.

Last week news came out that Matt riddle’s current contract with WWE was up in August of 2021. It was reported that WWE had offered him a new three-year contract with a downside guarantee for $400,000 a year. We now have more details on Riddle’s contract status.

According to a new report from Fightful, they report that Matt Riddle was not interested in the terms of the first new offer WWE presented him. WWE came back with a new offer hoping he would sign it by the end of 2020. With that, the report state that Riddle did in fact sign the contract with the new agreed-upon terms last week.

With Riddle signing a new contract with WWE we know the original deal was for three years but we do not know if that is the length of the new deal as well. One other thing we do not know is if the new deal goes into effect now or when the last deal was up in August of next year.

Regardless the Original Bro is sticking with WWE for the foreseeable future as he is currently feuding with The Hurt Business and reported to be the next challenger to Bobby Lashley and the United States Championship. —
