Latest Details On The AEW/IMPACT Relationship

December 3, 2020 0 By Tim Jarrell

AEW made an IMPACT last night.

Last night on AEW Dynamite we saw Kenny Omega defeat Jon Moxley to become the brand new AEW world Champion. He did not do this alone as IMPACT Wrestling Executive Vice President Don Callis assisted Omega in his victory. After the match, the two ran out of the building and Callis let us know that he and Omega will address what went down tonight next Tuesday on IMPACT.

According to a new report from Fightful, they report that some within IMPACT Wrestling had heard the news and asked management about it at the last set of IMPACT Tapings. It was also said that some in AEW had heard that Don Callis was coming in to do an angle but did not know how big of an angle.

The report also states that no one is expecting a “full crossover” to come from this new relationship. It is stated that wrestlers within IMPACT are happy about the buzz this will bring to the company.

As far as Omega appearing on IMPACT next week, it was stated that Kenny Omega was not at the last set of IMPACT Wrestling tapings. Omega is expected to film his segment on Tuesday and even though IMPACT is said to be filmed up till their next pay-per-view in January, some are being flown in on Tuesday to film some stuff.

If we do hear anything else regarding this new working relationship between All Elite Wrestling and IMPACT Wrestling, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
