Details on Tuesday’s WWE special.

This coming Tuesday at 9:30 am EST WWE will air the WWE Superstar Spectacle that will highlight current main roster stars and new WWE stars from India. The show itself was filmed this past week and we have some info on those tapings.

The Superstar Spectacle tapings took place Friday morning and according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnson reports that Triple H was in charge of the tapings. They also state that even though the tapings took place inside the ThunderDome, the NXT and NXT UK teams were behind running the tapings themselves.

A number of Indian talent actually had their first real match at the tapings and because of that, the original plan was to have the tapings over a number of days to give the less experienced talent kind of a safety net. The decision to shoot the show live to tape was ultimately made with the show actually airing live on the WWE ThunderDome website for fans who signed up to be there virtually.

The show itself was booked as a “debut event” to put the spotlight on what was referred to as “NXT India” talent that competed on the show.

The lineup of matches are as followed,

– WWE Champion Drew McIntyre & Indus Sher vs Jinder Mahal & The Bollywood Boyz
– WWE NXT Champion Finn Balor vs Guru Raaj
– Charlotte Flair & Sareena Sandhu vs Bayley and Natalya
– AJ Styles vs Jeet Rama
– Rey Mysterio,  Ricochet, Dilsher Shanky & Giant Zanjeer vs Dolph Ziggler, King Corbin, Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro
– Also appearing are Ric Flair, The Street Profits & The New Day.

Again the show will air this Tuesday at 9:30 am EST/6:30 am PST as it is being billed in India as a special event on a special Indian holiday.
