Cards Announced For Both Nights Of New Japan’s Wrestle Kingdom 14

New Japan Pro Wrestling’s biggest show is officially set. For the past 13 years Wrestle Kingdom has run on January 4th but this year they are changing things up. This year for Wrestle Kingdom 14, they will run two night’s in the Tokyo Dome with each show just as big as the other.

This year Wrestle Kingdom will run on it’s normal January 4th date, but then continue the next night on January 5th. This will also push back the New Year’s Dash show that always runs the night after Wrestle Kingdom to January 6th.

The biggest thing that will come out of these shows is that after night two New Japan will crown their first double champion as for the first time one wrestler will hold both the IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Titles at the same time. Also, the legendary Jushin Thunder Liger will wrestle his last matches every on these shows as he is set to retire. Plus, we will also see the in-ring return of Hiromu Takahashi after he missed roughly 18 months after suffering a neck injury in 2018.
