AEW Revolution Match Pre-Taped Ahead Of Show

March 7, 2021 0 By Tim Jarrell

One Revolution match will not air live tonight.

Tonight is the AEW Revolution pay-per-view. Announced for the show is one match on the pre-show and eight matches on the main card. With that, one match reportedly has already been filmed ahead of tonight’s show.

According to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Barrasso reported that the Street Fight where Sting will team with TNT Champion Darby Allin against Brian Cage and Ricky Starks was filmed ahead of time and said to be a massive success. He stated this was done to make sure Sting was put in the safest environment possible. Cage and Starks were able to have some star-making moments and Darby Allin was able to use his film school background.

With this match being taped ahead of time we don’t know if it will be like other Street Fights we have seen from AEW or if this was filmed more like a cinematic match. With Barrasso saying Allin was able to use some of his film school background, that leads one to believe at least a little of the latter.

Remember that following tonight’s AEW Revolution, we will be live breaking down the entire show on both the PWUnlimited YouTube and PWUnlimited Twitch Channels.
